This Privacy Policy describes how Costa Blanca Organics (CBO) collects, uses, and shares your personal information.

We Respect Your Privacy

Your personal information (Name, Address, Phone, etc.) will only be used as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not and will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. For your protection, we don’t retain financial information and don’t maintain credit card or checking account information beyond the needs of your particular shopping transaction.

This Privacy Policy applies only to activities conducted and personal information collected on this Site. It does not cover information that you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you on those sites. For example, if you post something on Facebook, Instagram, that information is governed by the privacy policies on those websites and is not governed by this policy.

How We Use Your Personal Information

CBO primarily uses the personal information that it collects to provide you with products, information, and services. We may use your information to track your purchase history and to contact you for an account and promotional purposes.

This page does not store your sensitive personal information.

How We Share Your Personal Information

CBO may share your personal information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share your personal information with companies that perform services for us (including affiliates acting in this capacity). Such as fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and emails, analyzing customer data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, investigating fraudulent activity, conducting customer surveys, and providing customer service. Some of our service providers are located outside of Spain. While outside of Spain, personal information will be subject to applicable foreign laws, which may permit law enforcement, government or national security authorities to have access to your personal information in certain circumstances.

Social Networks, Widgets, and Plug-ins: If you use any features made available to you on our website by a third party it may result in information being collected or shared between us and the third party. For example, if you use Facebook’s “Like” feature, Facebook may register the fact that you “liked” a product and may post that information on Facebook. Reviews: CBO allows you to participate in Ratings & Reviews, and to receive product recommendations. Some of the information you provide in association with the Ratings & Reviews can be seen by everyone on your Profile (such as your name and reviews, if any), and some information can only be seen by you on your Profile.

Other Instances: CBO may share your personal information to protect the legal rights of our company, our employees, our agents, and our affiliates, to protect the safety and security of our visitors, to detect and protect against fraud, or to comply with law or legal process.

Business Transition:  CBO may share personal information with prospective purchasers to evaluate the proposed transaction. CBO may share de-identified information (i.e., information that is not directly connected to your name) in the following circumstances in addition to those identified above: Aggregate information. We may share de-identified aggregate information about our customers with advertisers and marketing partners. Behavioural-based advertising. A third party may use technology (e.g., a cookie) to collect information about your use of our website and other websites so that they can provide advertising about products and services tailored to your interest. That advertising may appear either on our website or on other websites.

Your Choices

Receiving newsletters and promotional emails: You are automatically agreeing to be sent promotional emails when you click “Subscribe” a newsletter at The Site. At any time, you can click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional email that you receive to be removed from our promotional emails.

Remove content from a user review: You can remove content that you posted on a CBO public space, such as Reviews, by emailing details to info@costablancaorganics.com. Note that we will endeavour to honour your request to remove information, however, our removal of your information does not completely erase that information from the Internet. For example, historical copies, or “caches,” may remain.

You may also withdraw your consent to our collection, use and disclosure of personal information at any time, subject to contractual and legal restrictions and reasonable notice. However, if you withdraw your consent to certain uses or disclosures of your personal information, we may no longer be able to provide certain of our products or services.

Changes To This Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. You should review our privacy policy periodically so that you keep up-to-date on our most current practices. We will note the effective date of the latest version at the top of each policy.

  • “Cookies” are small bits of information that are placed on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies remember information about your activities on the site to make your visits to our website more enjoyable and valuable to you by providing a customized experience and recognizing your preferences when you visit our website. Information from Other Sources:

When contacting consumers for informational, marketing and commercial purposes, CBO, like many organizations, may utilize third-party service providers for some routine services such as promotional mailings. In such cases, CBO provides only the information necessary to ensure the service is delivered and requires that the service provider sign a non-disclosure agreement agreeing to keep the customer’s information confidential and secure and limiting its use to the purpose for which it was disclosed. After the service provider has completed the service, the service provider must either destroy the information or return it to CBO.

If you do not want to receive email from us in the future, please let us know by emailing us at info@costablancaorganics.com. Requests to remove your e-mail address for our lists may take up to ten days to fulfil from the date we receive your request.

If we merge with another business entity or substantially all of its assets related to the products or services that you receive from us are acquired by another business entity, customer information will likely be one of the assets transferred to the other business entity. In the event of such a merger or acquisition, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to the other business entity under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect, maintain or use personally identifiable information submitted to the site by children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 13 years of age has submitted personally identifiable information to the site, we will not use that information and will immediately delete the information from its records.

Data security is compromised when personal data is accidentally or unlawfully disclosed to unauthorized recipients or when such data becomes temporarily unavailable or altered.
